A celadon jade scholar's screen, with carved decoration in light relief, one side depicting a scholar and his disciple near a pavilion in a mountain planted with pine trees, the other depicting a waterfall falling into a stream bordered by rocky walls planted with the three friends of winter (pine, prunus and bamboo). With a wooden base finely carved with stylized motifs. Collection label on base.
