Saber of officer of national guard on horseback, French revolution. Silvered bronze mount. Lion head cap assembled to the guard. Flat joint bow with rocaille decoration and curved quillon in the axis. Cruiser in chased shuttle with decoration of a flower. Wooden spindle covered with a brass filigree. Curved blade with groove marked with the punch of Cabannes, sub-director in Klingenthal in 1791, probably shortened, oxidations. Without scabbard. Total length : 89 cm France, French revolution period.
