CHINE pour le Vietnam Two small porcelain stem cups decorated in blue underglaze with three phoenixes treated in scroll, palmettes on the foot, surmounted by three mouse bats on the external wall of the cups. On the reverse side, four-character mark GIA LONG NIÊN TAO (made during the reign of Gia Long). Emperor Gia Long, born in 1762, was the first ruler of the Nguyen dynasty, from 1802 to 1820. Diameter : 10 cm (a tiny chip on the edge of one of them)
