Contemporary brown calf over wood with clasps, broadly framed with cold-stamped decoration, spine ribbed with cold-stamped fillets, corners reinforced with brass, brass clasps. Without the bindings. [8] ff, 886 p. ; [4]ff, 438 p., [11]ff. Revised and corrected edition. A work containing more than one thousand sermons written by the German Jesuit priest Mathias Faber. Text in Latin printed on two columns. Beautiful 17th century blindstamped binding. Leather damages to the headpieces and the nerves, beginning of a split at one of the spine ends. Rare freckles.
