[PHOTOGRAPHY]. [ITALY]. BORGI (Giacomo)]. Album of photographs by Giacomo Brogi (photographer in Florence), views of Italy (Genoa, Rome, Florence). Italy, Florence, circa 1880 Oblong album, 35 prints on album paper mounted on strong cardboard, some photos captioned in the print, brown half-chagrin with corners, four-ribbed spine, gilt fleurons, red edges. Album size: 500 x 325 mm. Giacomo Brogi (Florence, 1822-1881) began photography in 1856 and opened his studio in 1864 on Corso Tintori in Rome. He also had studios in Florence and Naples. The dry stamp on some of the cards refers to the Florence studio in via Tornabuoni.
