GABRIEL VIARDOT (1830-1904) Important stained or patinated sycamore and mother-of-pearl window; the pedimented cornice adorned with a dragon; the door with a scrolled rim and spandrels or flowerbeds or reserves with Chinese mother-of-pearl motifs; low full with scrolled feet and inlaid at the front; openwork crosspiece. The blue shimmering silk-filled interior features an asymmetrical shelf with a dragon console. Signed Viardot. Second half of the 19th century. H: 183 L: 110 D: 43 cm
