A so-called portal clock in chased and gilded bronze and marble; at the damping a vase with plumet handles framed by fluted diaries; the movement supported by a portal with console pilasters; quadrangular base with frieze projection; knurled spinning top feet. It is decorated with "Wedgwood" biscuit plaques with a mythological theme. The enamelled dial, signed "Jouin à Paris", indicates the hours in Arabic numerals, as well as the minutes in increments of fifteen. Louis XVI period. H: 57 W: 41 D: 12 cm (splinters and restoration)
