Chest of drawers with rich inlaid decoration of flowering and foliage branches on blackened pearwood backgrounds; the top centered on a basket filled with flowers and animated by a monkey and butterfly; slightly arched in shape, it opens with three drawers in three rows with crosspieces; rounded uprights with floral reserves and rosettes; it stands on straight legs adorned with chased and gilded bronze sabots at the front. Louis XIV period (restorations mainly to the marquetry of the lower drawer). H : 83.5 - W : 129 - D : 72 cm. This lot has been described by Etienne Molinier.
