Tibet 18th century, Brown patina copper statuette depicting a yellow Jambhala, a deity associated with wealth and prosperity, seated in lalitasa or royal relaxation on a lotus, his right foot resting on a treasure vase representing the mastery of wealth. In his left hand, he holds his traditional attributes: the jewel-spitting "Nehulay" mongoose, a symbol of prosperity, and in his right hand, a jewel evoking the purification of spirits and divine clarity.
