Contemporary red half-chagrin, spine ribbed and decorated, gilt title and tomaison, marbled edges. First edition. The last four volumes are devoted to Napoleon's works on St. Helena. Copy by Viollet Le Duc, with his label on the flyleaf of volume I. Uniform binding. Stains on title page of volume I, a few scattered foxing marks, minor wear.
