Edition illustrated with 140 figures drawn by Boucher, Eisen, Gravelot... engraved by Baquoy, Basan, Binet... protected by serpents.
In all, a frontispiece, 3 dedication pages drawn and engraved by Choffard, 4 fleurons on the titles, 30 vignettes, 1 superb cul-de-lampe at the end of the last volume and 139 figures drawn by Boucher, Eisen, Gravelot, Leprince, Monnet, Moreau... engraved by Baquoy, Basan, Binet, Duclos, de Ghendt...
