New, revised and enlarged edition of the volume published in 1531, with the same "Argumenta" by Donatus and Melanchthon, but with a new notice to the reader by Robert Estienne, based on the recent review of Erasmus published in Basel (Hieronymus Froben and Nikolaus Episcopius, 1532). This fourth edition includes Erasmus' "De metris comicis", which was to appear in some of the following editions. It is preceded by the same dedicatory epistle to the brothers Jan and Stanislaus Boner, dated December 12, 1532. Minor vellum tears in the margins of the boards and a headband, dampstaining in one corner. Ink stains in upper corner of leaves. Renouard, IV, 826.
