On each page, fine woodcuts attributed to G. Reverdy and C. Corneille, depicting figures in profile, in a medallion. All major figures from mythology, antiquity and the period are represented. Some marginal annotations. Increasingly pronounced foxing from page 153, very heavy in-fine, with traces of mildew. Stains and small chips to binding.
