China, 19th century, A pair of covered baluster-shaped porcelain and famille rose enamel potiches with medallion decoration of peonies, chrysanthemums and prunus flowers resting on a yellow enameled background with foliate scrolls. The neck is adorned with lotuses, and a frieze of lotus petals completes the ornamentation on the heel. Chip and restoration to one of the lids. Height 48 cm
