Large fahua porcelain jar with turquoise, yellow, green, creamy-white and purple enamel decoration on a sapphire-blue ground, depicting the eight immortals around shoulao and his deer, under a longevity pine. The shoulder is adorned with a garland of lotus petals, encircling spiral geometric motifs, below which are depicted, in ruyi heads, the eight Buddhist emblems. Around the neck, alternating motifs of lotus flowers in ruyi heads and Buddhist emblems. A frieze of large lotus petals completes the ornamentation of the foot. The lid (reported), decorated with lambrequins, the handle in the shape of a lotus bud. On an octagonal gilded wood base.
Cracks and restoration to the staple on the body, glaze gaps.
