Patent case in red and gold lacquered wood, decorated with dragons deployed around the sacred pearl, opening onto a cylindrical case with the same decoration, containing a document from the Grand Empire of Annam evoking the presentation of a plaque of honor, known as "Kim Kahn de hors classe", to Mr. G. Secretary General of the General Government in the 4th year of Bao Dai's reign, on the 12th month, January 26, 1930.
Enclosed:
- an oblong Kim Boi (created in 1889 for women) in stamped vermeil decorated with confronted phoenixes around calligraphic cartouches, with the inscription "Quynh Dao Vinh hao" on one side. The reverse side features the name of Emperor Kai Dinh, with a necklace and bangs of multicolored pearls.
- A document from the Emperor of Annam, dated May 9, 1936, mentioning the gold plaque awarded by S.M. Bao Dai as a token of their esteem.
- A fabric, embroidered in gold and polychrome thread, with dragons, pearls, geometric motifs and calligraphy, evoking a diplomatic visit organized by the Emperor of Annam.
