China, circa 1850 A pair of "bianhu" gourd-shaped vases on a small heel, in cloisonné enamel on copper, with polychrome decoration of the eight "baxian" immortals in four medallions, resting on a turquoise-blue background decorated with lotus flowers and precious objects. The neck is decorated with two high-relief copper dragons forming handles. Small enamel chips. H. 38.5 cm
