[FOCH (Ferdinand)] - Marshal of France Three L.A.S sent in 1905 to "Douglas" (Douglas Haig seems difficult to us, as he was an officer in the English army; the two men did, however, know each other). Ferdinand Foch was then Deputy Colonel of Artillery at Brest.
