Contemporary gray half calf, smooth gilt spine. 2 portrait plates: Louis Napoléon Bonaparte by Louis Perrez and General Cavaignac by Lalaisse, both printed by Villain on tinted ground, followed by 34 captioned costume plates, lithographed in gummed colors. Without plates 20 - 32. Plate 25 repeated twice with different colors. Followed by eight plates linked by 2, titled République française, and captioned, drawn by Lalaisse. Good condition.
