Fully engraved work including a title by Berthault, a dedication by Clouet, engraved by Petit, 68 double-page intaglio maps and a table of contents leaf. Beautiful set of maps in period colors, with an explanation of the map in two columns framing the map. Missing and stained title engraving. Significant traces of moisture from map 65 onwards, in the engraved text of map 68 and in the table of contents. Spine rubbed, lower spine box missing, beginning of split at spine ends, edges dull, stains on vellum.
