With handwritten note on first leaf: "commencé au mois de Janvier 1782" and in graphite: "études académiques".32 plans of academic projectsmostly watercolored: elevations, ground plan, followed by 23 pages of allegorical sculptures drawn in ink, often two per page. Handwritten notes concerning the Académie's proposals: "l'académie propose un petit pavillon composé de 5 ou 6 pièces...", with or without the projects opposite. On one of the last sheets, handwritten notes on the project for the monument requested from the artists for the city of Bordeaux. Le 30 Brumaire, accompanied by two small sketches. Blank intermediate leaves. Handsome architect's manuscript with numerous watercolor study projects.
