China, Qing and Republic period Set of six snuff bottles, including : - two in porcelain, one iron-red enameled with dragon design, Yongzheng apocryphal mark, the other blue-white enameled with fishermen design - one in cookie, decorated in black with geese - two in glass, one with a painted portrait of Chiang Kai-Shek on the inside, by the artist Ma Shaoyi, and calligraphy on the reverse depicting a poem by Wang Wei, describing a poet playing cythra, alone under the moon, the second depicting a gallant scene, signed on the reverse by the Guyue Xuan workshop (1644-1911) - a carved wooden figure of a child holding a fish N.B. The Guyue Xuan workshop was known for its small display objects during the reign of the Kangxi emperor. H. 5 to 7 cm
