China, Kangxi period (1661-1722) Pair of two small ribbed ginger pots in blue-white porcelain, decorated in four medallions with young women on tree terraces, weeping willows, banana trees and longevity pines. Floral compositions around the neck complete the ornamentation. The lids are missing, and one has been damaged and restored. Apocryphal Ming Jiaqing mark on the bases. H. 17 cm
