China, Minguo period (1912-1949) Large ruyi scepter in gilded copper and polychrome enamels, with molded decoration of a peach of longevity among bamboo and orchid on the upper part, the center featuring a vase containing prunus, the lower part adorned with blossoming lotus flowers on a background of the eight Buddhist emblems. The reverse is incised with a dragon, a phoenix and the eight Buddhist emblems. L. 50 cm
