Pair of curious small covered vases in bronze and silver-engraved metal; the lids, one hinged and the other threaded; the simulated necks receive bouquets of flowers; detached handles holding garlands on the sides engraved with doves; pedestals with beaded rings and quadrangular bases with channels standing on a circular tray with small leafy feet. Probably 19th-century Ottoman work (knocks and oxidation). H: 29 cm.
