Set of two regulation pommel pistols model 1833 second type. One in average condition. Percussion rear locks from the Royal Manufacture of Châtellerault and flat-bodied hammers. Octagonal barrels (one damascus), hair rifled and slightly blunderbussed. Checkered walnut stocks, bridges with finger rests and caps with rings for iron lanyard passage, unscrewable with tools present. Complete with patterned ramrods. Functional mechanism, both notches marked. France, Louis-Philippe period. Overall length: 36.5cm. Weapon category D2.
