Meeting of two swords. Comprising: Louis XVIII court sword. Gilt bronze and mother-of-pearl mount. Lacrosse-shaped pommel with lion's head joint. Keyboard with the profile of King Louis XVIII flanked by two fleurs-de-lys. Mother-of-pearl plates. Triangular-section blade with blue remnants, pitting. Leather scabbard with two brass fittings, cap missing. France, Restoration period. A court sword with lion's head and French coat of arms, as is.
