Brigadier general and watercolorist.
After a long career in the artillery, in which he served during the First World War, Paul Kauffer took advantage of a well-deserved retirement to devote himself to art.
He specialized in military drawings and watercolors, a field in which he gained recognition and exhibited regularly.
