Japon, XIXe siècle Inrô with four squares, rounded corners, in gold lacquer, decorated with hira and taka-makie, togidashi, kirigane and Shibayama inlays. Shibayama, depicting Jurojin accompanied by a karako playing with a turtle, on the banks of a stream planted with a large pine tree, the interior in nashiji and fundame lacquer. Signed Shôkasai in gold lacquer, and Shibayama in a small mother-of-pearl cartouche. (Small chips of lacquer at the edge of one case; traces of label). H. 8.8 cm - L. 5.8 cm.
