Red and black lacquered wood box with gold highlights, decorated with dragons moving around the perimeter, inside which lies a decree scroll on yellow paper dated Emperor Duy Tân's fifth year, 6th month, 8th day (1907-1916) featuring a dragon moving around seals and the "Tho" character stamped in red and silver.
Calligraphic inscriptions in Sino-Vietnamese complete the document.
