Japon, XIXe siècle Set of three models of polychrome lacquered wood masks, the reverse side covered with canvas bearing a label identifying the face, two belonging to the Gigaku theater, depicting Karura, the divine bird, and Kuron, a demonic character; the third depicting Heijitori, the drunken character of the dance Kotokuraku from the Bugaku Theater. H. 17.5 cm to 19 cm.
