Chine, vers 1950 A celadon jade pedestal vase decorated with taotie masks on the body, a frieze of lotus petals around the foot, the neck decorated with stylized cicadas. Two dragon heads hold rings forming handles. The lid is held in place by a chain, the handle depicting a Buddhist lion in high relief. H. 26.5 cm.
