JAPON, période Koto Wakizashi with shinogi-zukuri blade, the mune underlined by a long throat on each side, the hamon not legible, the nakago with two mekugi-ana, with signature and date not very legible: possibly Bishû Chô... dated Ôei 22 (1415 ) ? Koshirae with tsuba mokko-gata decorated in relief with shishi and peonies, on a nanako background; fuchi-kashira decorated with chrysanthemums, two menuki in shakudo featuring a buffalo, kozuka in sentoku decorated with a duck in water, black lacquered scabbard. (Kizu, small chips, dirt on the blade; small accidents to the scabbard, depatinated elements, notably tsuba and fuchi-kashira, formerly with shakudo patina). L. 45.2 cm
