JAPON, période Edo, XVIIIe-début XIXe siècle Large tantô with hira-zukuri blade, hamon not legible, nakago with a mekugi-ana, unsigned; tsuba maru-gata in iron decorated with a mountain landscape where scholars are strolling, fuchikashira with traces of gilding, decorated with chrysanthemums, two menuki in sentoku and gilded highlights, featuring a rat with a fruit; kogatana in sentoku decorated with a dragon, the long blade signed; the black lacquered scabbard partially ringed. L. 34.3 cm (tip of the kissaki slightly chipped, soiled; parts of the koshirae depatinated, scabbard damaged)
