JAPON, PÉRIODE EDO YOKOHAGI OKEGAWA NIMAI-DÔ TYPE WEAPON Comprising: . the dô cuirass in two parts of riveted horizontal plates, the plates black lacquered, with undulating edge and rivets in high gold relief; . the kusazuri skirt with seven panels of kiritsuke-zane lamellas joined by lacing in midnight-blue kebiki-odoshi; . the haidate thigh guard in the iyo-haidate style, with two panels and five rows of small black lacquered strips, topped with a light-blue fabric decorated with flowers, the reverse in midnight-blue linen; . a pair of small kosode shoulder pads, with five rows of black kiritsuke-zane, laced with blue kebi-odoshi; . a sujibachi-kabuto helmet with twenty-four lamellas enhanced at the front by a shinodare, the hineno shikoro, with five black lacquered lamellas joined by midnight-blue kebiki-odoshi; . a black-lacquered iron hoate half-mask, red reverse, with three straight plates laced with midnight-blue sugake-odoshi. (missing sleeves and leggings; accidents and wear; lacquer gaps, particularly on the mask). A carrying case is included.
