Finely chased and gilded bronze mantel clock in the form of an architectural bollard with molded cornice; the sides with scrolls and foliage resting on fluted pilasters supporting a large garland of flowers and fruit; the base with water leaves. The dial, signed "Chles Dutertre à Paris", indicates the hours in Roman numerals and the minutes in increments of fifteen in Arabic numerals. The cover features a group (possibly reported) of a cherub crowning a drawing girl. Signed Osmond. Louis XVI period. It is presented on a gray-veined white marble base with bronze applique decorated with aprons, passementerie draperies and rosette moldings; small ball feet. H : 48 - W : 42 - D : 17 cm.
