Infantry officer saber model 1855. Brass mounting. Oval cap with laurel wreath, filleted joint arch, openwork plate with flower decoration, drop-shaped quillon. Wooden spindle (missing watermark). Slightly curved blade with Solingen throat. Iron scabbard with two bracelets. Some oxidation. Total length : 85 cm. France, Second Empire - Third Republic period.
