Clock in bronze finely chased and gilded with the matt and burnished representing an allegory of the literature under the shape of a young woman dressed with the antique; at its sides a pile of books and a crown of laurels; the base with low relief with the allegory of the arts under the shape of cherubs on amatized bottom. Base with stripes of heart and straight legs. The dial inscribed in the snake of time signed Sironval Jeune rue de Bussy n°29, hours in Roman numerals and minutes by graduation. Empire period. 44 x 39,5 x 12 cm (some wear to the gilding)
