In French and Latin, decorated manuscript on paper (sometimes bluish paper) France, 1811-1839 Large in-8, 642 pp. Bound in half basane, smooth spine, paper-covered boards (spotting and staining on the boards). Dimensions : 185 x 135 mm. Collection containing several pieces by literary figures attached to Clamecy, of rather royalist obedience. A signature " Moreau-Charny " is repeated on the endpapers and a piece entitled : " Discours sur les avantages de l'instruction publique prononcé par M. Moreau-Charny, régent d'humanités, à la distribution solennelle des prix décernés aux élèves du collège de Clamecy le 29 août 1816 ". François Edme-Julien Moreau-Charny was principal of the college of Clamecy. Several writings, speeches copied in this collection are to be linked to Clamecy.
