DUCLAUX. Carved chestnuts. Paris, On sale at Duclaux, Lithographie Barousse, around 1880. 1 vol. small in-4. Green percale, gilt title on the first plate "Caricatures" repeated on the spine, leaves mounted on tabs. Lithographed title followed by 26 lithographed plates in colors numbered from 1 to 24, with two plates 15 and 16 bis. They bear the monogram F D and are captioned. Suite of political cartoons related to the Third Republic: Thers, Jules Faivre, Ferry, Duc d'Aumale, Jules Simon, Dufaure... Ex-libris Louis Friedlander. Small rubs to the binding, a shock to the cut.
