Contemporary red morocco, gilt arms in the center of the boards, triple fillet, smooth spine with ornate faux-nerves, red morocco title-piece. [1], L pp, 124 pp, [2]. Partly original edition, corrected, augmented with "six pieces of poetic prose" (warning): The Night; Regrets on the death of a brother; The Orchard; The End of Autumn; The Tomb; Country walk. > Copy in red morocco with the ecclesiastical arms close to those of Yves-Alexandre de Marbeuf (1734- 1799). He was received as counselor at the Parliament of Dijon in 1776. Commander of the order of the Holy Spirit, he was promoted to archbishop of Lyon where he never appeared. O.H.R. pl. 1462, n° 3. Wear to the covers and corners, small stain to the lower cover, title-piece largely missing. JOINT [BERRUYER, Isaac-Joseph].
