Paris, Nicolas Pépie, 1716. 1 vol. in-8. Red morocco with period lace, gilt arms in the center of the boards, spine with gilt number, gilt title. First edition. The work is illustrated with a frontispiece and a hors-texte included in the pagination engraved in intaglio by Bazin. Copy in red morocco with the coat of arms of Elisabeth-Charlotte of Bavaria, known as the Princess Palatine (1652-1722). She was the second wife of Philippe, duke of Orleans, brother of Louis XIV, and the mother of the Regent. O.H.R. pl. 2564, iron no. 5. Small worm gallery at the top of the spine, wear at the corners.
