A portrait by Cathelin after Monstrer. Joints rubbed. ENCLOSED : LA HARPE - SUETONE. The twelve Caesars, translated from the Latin of Suetonius, with notes and reflections. Paris, Lacombe & Didot l'Ainé, 1770. 2 vol. in-8. Contemporary brown calf, triple gilt fillet on the boards, smooth spine decorated. Label on the upper spine. Worm holes in the margins. Missing the title and the tome.
