FLECHIER, Esprit. Panegyrics and other sermons. Paris, Jean Anisson, 1696. 1 vol. in-4. Contemporary calf, gilt arms in the center of the boards, ornate spine, gilt title. Engraved fleur-de-lys on the title page, a header and a lettering repeated in both parts. Second collective of Fléchier's ordinary panegyrics and sermons (the first one is from 1695, with the Cologne address and in-12 format. Prize book attributed to Antoine Joseph Cartier, in 1752, with a label stuck on the upper flyleaf, bearing at the head the arms repeated on the boards : "Ex munificentia praetoris, propraetoris, consulum, aedilium que urbis et civitatis Laudunensis..." > Copy with the arms of the city of Laon. "Laon, which replaced the ancient Bibrax, was originally only a castle." O.H. R. pl. 2079. Binding damaged, with cracks at the jaws, missing upper cover and corners. As is.
