[FESTIVAL BOOK] Public celebration given by the city of Paris, on the occasion of the marriage of Monseigneur le Dauphin on February 13, 1747. 1 vol. in-plano. Full red morocco, lace framing with fleur-de-lys, fleur-de-lys in the corners, gilt arms in the center of the boards, spine with crowned numeral, green morocco title page, gilt edges, interior scroll. Festive book relating the marriage of the Dauphin with Princess Marie-Josèphe de Saxe, including an engraved title, a frontispiece, 12 pages of engraved text with beautiful ornamental frames, as well as 7 double plates in a beautiful frame. Engraved by Le Mire, Marvye, and Tardieu, five represent the chariots, the last two, the Vendome square and the fireworks. Beautiful copy in full morocco with the arms of the city of Paris. Cracks at the spines, angular wetness on the first plate, small scratches on the boards.
