A first volume appeared in 1705 under the title Remarques sur Virgile et sur Homère. Provenances : - Count Alphonse de la Guère with handwritten bookplate on the back of a flyleaf. - R. Chardey with ex-libris. > A copy with the arms of Louis-Robert-Hippolyte de Bréhan, count of Plélo (1699-1734) with his motto " Brithan, foy de Brehan ". O.H.R. pl. 1715, no. 3 and 5 (back). Rubbing to spines and headpieces, wear to corners.
