CHINE pour le Vietnam Two large circular porcelain bowls on high heel decorated on the outer wall in blue underglaze with a pentadactyl dragon (five claws) coming out of the clouds, spitting fire in front of the sacred pearl, facing a kilin, waves at the base. On the reverse side, a character mark "nhut" (sun). 19th century (slight chips) Diam. : 18,5 cm Porcelains marked with the character "nhut" were often intended for the imperial palace, for the second Nguyen Emperor, Minh Mang (1791-1841).
