[POSTCARD]. Album of postcards featuring castles collected by Eddy Le Coq de Kerland. With about 300 postcards, most of them signed by the owners of the castles Postcards in an album (dim. : 220 x 365 mm) with up to three postcards per page. Collection started in 1907. The Le Coq de Kerland family is an old bourgeois family from Brittany. Its arms are : Azure with a golden rooster. According to a note, this album was created by Eddy de Kerland in 1907 when he was working at the Comptoire national d'escompte de Paris (which later became the BNP): in his office, Eddy de Kerland received the personalities of the world (he knew Gustave Eiffel) and the owners of castles. Eddy de Kerland (died in 1946) was the son of Charles de Kerland (1844-1922).
