A silver soup tureen and its display stand, the lid decorated with twisted ribs enhanced by a string of gadroons and topped with a fretel featuring a leafy grenade. The body with twisted ribs rests on four rocaille feet and flanked by two handles composed of rocaille foliage. The oval display stand with twisted ribs is bordered by a gadrooned cord punctuated with asymmetrical rocaille ornaments. London 1756 for the tureen, silversmith : Edward WAKELIN London 1757 for the display stand, silversmith : John PARKER I and Edward WAKELIN Weight : 3 926 g.
