Charles-Édouard Jeanneret dit LE CORBUSIER (1887-1965) Dancer, Double Bassist, Yellow Door and Lying Dog, 1933. Washed pastel and brown ink over graphite composition on fine wove paper. Monogrammed and dated lower center; dedicated. Signed and dated lower left: "p(our) Pierre Jaoul/amicalement/ Le Corbusier/ N(ouvel) A(n) 1949 20.7 x 30.8 cm. This pastel, done in 1933, was offered and dedicated on the occasion of the New Year 1949. The Jaoul family commissioned two houses by Le Corbusier in Neuilly between 1951 and 1955. A certificate from Mr Eric Mouchet dated 12 May 2021 will be given to the buyer.
